You need to test the saponification number. I think it is crude glycerine instead of coconut lye. Taste it to see whether it is sweet or not.

You can try sugar instead of PG in your formulation.

Mixing tank better should be 316 L type but most important change the source of PG. Any kind of Fe in PG can cause it. I have live such problem with BASF PG even Fe contant under spects but did not live PG from Korea . EDTA or HEDP could not solve the problem.

Allantoin can cause such problems because of its solubility. Try to add Glycerine or Propylene glycol to solubilize Allantoin. Also check your water quality. any kind of hardness can cause such problems. Glycerine also gives a sweet taste also. Disolve allontoin in solvents first.

I think you need to use mild surfactant like betain, sulphosuccinates, etc. There are so many of them but I did not tested the rest of them. Beside you can not use salt and SLES for thicking. both are not  mild enough for the sensible skin of face and eyes. You can use PEG 120 methyl glycose dioleate or one from the same group.

    Dear Nanda,
Ammonium Cocoyl Isethionate is the one which is soluable in water. It usually supplied %30 solution form. Jordapon ACL 30 can be one example for this.
    Hope would help.
