Of the apparent disadvantages, I have encountered the limitations on queries and CPU time. I was doing an online parser of google table data - ran into such limitations. And another thing - if the table exceeds several thousand / fifty thousand rows, and the rows are processed somehow - it starts to slow down a lot. Your formulas don’t need tens of thousands of rows, so you can safely use google tables.
