For carbomer, I used trolamine to bring up the pH to form a gel. I also used NaOH to bring up the pH to form a gel.

Your formula does not have effective lightening ingredients in it. You need kojic acid/vitamin C/niacinamide etc to have lightening effect. Beside, you are formulating a soap to be washed off in a minute. It does not make sense to apply a lightening ingredient and wash it off right away.

Basically the company just provided me with examples of commercial products they liked; they are looking for a natural skin care line with plant extracts. I need to source the material, develop formula for 4 products (not too complicated), and conduct stability studies.
They want to focus on a gentle cleanser, toner to help with dark spots and skin tone, vitamin C serum, and s non-greasy moisturizer to help with wrinkle.
