@ngarayeva001 it is just oily phase wich contains already Antioxidant “vitamine E” play the role of presevative.
Just for cost and needs i think that you can reduce % of Vitamine E Untill 0,2% and you can verify that.

@Gunther very intersting the fact of using distilled fatty acide for reducing cost however the question will distilled fatty acid have the same benifits of vegetable oils and the process of distillation will not use unhealthy reactifs?
About avoid yellowing i think that it is very advanced level ☺…
For the moment i just need to know if we can make hot process using TEA and what should be the maximum temperature ?

  • @Gunther is not too much 2,31% NaOh for 10% Labsa ?  Ratio depend on Labsa purity or degree but it seems whatever the degree of Labsa it is more then needed quantity of NaOh.

@Gunther moderate add of citric acid just to adjust ph near 7 will not break soap i already tested with koh soap and even with adding suitable quantity of citric acid soap is good .
About process i know that cold process will be more secure however it may will need a lot of days for complete reaction “if it is like koh and Naoh saponification” i’am not sure from how time it needs for TEA soap. So for accelerating reaction hot process will be the solution however heating TEA can be harmfull . So  what is the better process cold or hot cause even with some research i couldn’t make the choice .
@Das if you put link i will be thankful.

@Chemist77 it is one of my future project making blend of soap surfactants and free sulfates synthetics surfactants and see what it will gives.
Just i wanna do it by trying TEA soap in place of yours made by potassuim soap.
But i want start by seeing pure TEA soap what it will give?  (may it will be blend of coconut oil , olive olil and Mais oil).
@Gunther soo happy by your intersting reactions but i did  not able to understand the problelm of TEA soap with citric acid. Can you explain me more?

@jsmith14 actually for essential oils theire are a lot of photosensibles and thermosensibles ones . So what can i say to you not all essential oils have same sensibility so you must make research for your oils used and you must becarefull also at the maximum dose allowded of essential oil cause in high dose it can be soo harmfull.

That gives me honnor @Belassi and it is one from my goals to give each others new ideas , solutions and inspiration.
    wish all sucess for you.
Don’t forget to share your experiences and i will for sure also, and using TEA for free sulfate product it is really one of my reason to do TEA soap.

The aim of that neutralization is having product more soft and less irritant then Koh soap and it will be better if it gives no irritant eyes product.  One from  surpise i find about TEA soap that it gives quaternuim product @Microformulation where trough saponification TEA pass from tertiary amine to quaternuim trough liason with carboxylate of fatty acid so that gives hair conditionner product.
I read about Amine soap that give condionner and sfot product however i know that quaternuim are verry irritant product, so TEA Soap may can be quaternuin and not very irritant ? that question i’am thinking about .
I will make a try for sure just need developping idea now.

    Always helpful @Chemist77
@Gunther about acidity the problem can be solved with adding suitable quantity of citric acid .

@Perry @Das really appriciate your feedback however their is even famous indusrialized shampoo  where all his surfactants are only soap you can verify from that link product is in Amazon and in descreption you can understand it can be used for hair.

@ngarayeva001 it is generally used as solubilizer in Ratio 4 (PEG) : 1 (Perfume)

September 19, 2018 at 9:12 pm in reply to: How to thicken liquid soap

@Mamun actually you can thick your liquid soap without any add you just try combined saponification with using both NaoH and KoH the more you use NaoH the more you thick your product and try to use saponification Calculator to do it right and to see in advance the effect of NaoH in your soap’s thickness.

  • @Gunther for dissolving  Sulfonic acid it will be easier to add NaCl but few quantity cause much of Nacl will make your final product with low viscosity, and i see that for 1:3 dilution the concentration of Sulfonic acid is too high so it is normal to have very thcik product .
The neutralization with NaOh i prefer to diluate NaOh in water then i will add it to sulfonic acid that for me make operation easier.
    good luck friend.

@Sheng it is clear that your product is not neutralized cause 0,4 % carbomer will need 0,6 % TEA so i suppose that your product has high acidity wich can be harmfull for skin. Neutralizing will also increase the viscosity of product .

@ngarayeva001 impolite and liar is too much hhh.  for ceteareth 25 i never said it is the best conditioner for sure it is not , for ph meter i said we can use ph paper but ph meter  has more precision for sure. For diploma when you know what it does mean engineer cycle talk ” self learning” hhh i’am also self learning and evryday i make many experiences and researchments i’am sure that i’am making a lots of mistakes wich i try learning and improving my level from it .
About that i think that i’am the smartest i’am sure that i’am brillant  but i never though that i’am smartest and who are you to judge me and seeing what i’am thinking you don’t know nothing about me.
Actually i belive that evryone has his competences,  intelligence and superoirity in some sides and weakness in some other sides. So for me evryone even child can be a source of learning .
If i think that i’am smartest i would not ask @Perry to join the group and ask for advices   theire are amaizing chemist as @Perry @Belassi @Gunther really respect for them and i’am really learning from them however someother  are just impolite and ill .

@ngarayeva001 @Microformulation actually i have engineer diplome so stupidity that thinking an engineer is stupid , then from many comments i saw even for others it is clear how much impolite you are always blaming and seeing yourself better and superior then others, so that is worst then stupidity .

@Belassi Carbomer is just bubble hell??? what that means , actually for shampoo theire are a lot of Lol contains Carbomer and TEA .
About ceteareth 25 me alsoo never seen in shampoo Lol, but engineer should be creative and creativity needs innovation and something never seen .However ceteareth 25 is no ionic tensioacatif like MEA , DEA , TEA so if we return to how we make shampoo is not strange to find non ionic tensioactif .
Also Hair wax prove that it can be conditioner hair i just tried washing my hair after making my hair wax and the resultat was amaizing cleaning and lovely smooth effect.
