@ngarayeva001 actually i’am not talking about solvent i meant it when i said solublizer , solublizer is ingredient used to dissove other ingredient which is not soluble or has bad solubility in solvent i wish that difference between solublizer and solvent is clear also solvent has important % in Lol however solubilizer has lower % . “Almost problem of transperency return to bad solubility wich means our solvent is not good enough to dissove desired ingredient where the need of solubilizers”.

Professional Chemist / FormulatorOctober 26, 2018 at 3:50 pm in reply to: hair product wich gives smoothing and fixation effectsdid someone use hydroxyethylcellulose for making hair gel ? and can it gives better hair gel then carbomer one ?

@AmitKaria not as much easy as you think almost ingredients can have solublizers i gave you a start for probable solution of your problem if you want you can make research and may you solve it unless you are free.
@ngarayeva001 something like that Peg 40 , polysorbates are solublizers for oils in aquatic solution so here is not the same we must know what are the type of aloe vera’s compositions ” i guess Aminic acids and sels” and what are the adequat solubilzers of aloe vera’s compositions in water … wish that is clear. -
@ngarayeva001 @AmitKaria Actually what i see it is not problem of electrolyte resistance of ultrez because as it is clear that the obtained gel is viscous , the problem of transperency according to me can be solved by Aloe vera’s solubilizer that what i see and may we should make research about it ” as first impression i think aboul ethanol but to be more correct must know the Aloe vera ingredients and what can be theire adequat solublizers.

Professional Chemist / FormulatorOctober 25, 2018 at 1:12 pm in reply to: hair product wich gives smoothing and fixation effects@Chemist77 really intresting job and from my research even AMP will effect for flaking effect and for that effect it gives better resultats compairing to other neutralizers (TEA , NaOh, KOh…).
Actually from researching i find out that there are a lot of fixatives hair agents other then pvp and most attractive ones for me are some polyquaternuim so have you an idea or experiences about polyquaternuim hair fixatives and i wanna know theire stability with carbomer ? i did some research about that and i find that may some of polyquaternuim are stable with carbomer … -

Professional Chemist / FormulatorOctober 24, 2018 at 6:03 pm in reply to: hair product wich gives smoothing and fixation effects@Gunther thanks for your interesting ideas , i have idea about BTMS however i will make research about CETAC.
@Chemist i already make a hair gel-cream using oil at 10% level and i used also pvp and neutrelized carbomer so the professionels said to me that the fixation effect is good however i did not concentrate for smoothing effect , so do you think that including oil will decrease the solidification hair effect according to your experiences? -

Professional Chemist / FormulatorOctober 24, 2018 at 12:45 pm in reply to: liquid soap composition@chemistgr1 For soap you can use TEA to have lower ph compairing to KOh and NaOh you can also increase to degree of greasing to have softer soap but increasing greasing will make liquid soap opaque , about foam you just need to use the adequat oils to give better foam no needs to have any other add.

@BeardlyGentlemen actually i use Cathon-CG at 0,1 % if you can not find it try to find Acnibio at 0,3 % it is blend of parabens and phenoxyethanol.

Professional Chemist / FormulatorOctober 16, 2018 at 10:25 am in reply to: Defoamer Ethanol vs isopropanol ?@Gunther actually my poade dosen’t need really defoamer cause it has very low foam , just to have an idea about defoamer i asked. Also i’am against using alcohol generally but in low dose “as defoamer level i guess ” it will be great cause alcohol has antibacterien effect and did not has important drying effect.

Professional Chemist / FormulatorOctober 13, 2018 at 3:18 pm in reply to: Problem Hair Gel Pomade !! Help me@ferrysetiawan about your formula i can see that the % of perfume 3 is too high so i sugguest to decrease it to 0,5 % , then you will not need to use tow solublizers you just need to use one polysorbate 20 or peg 40 at % equal at 2. the % of pvp should be higher for better fixation, for ceteareth 25 may you need to increase the % for better viscosity.
