    Hello.
now I have prepared liquid soap based on saponified oil with KOH to have a soft soap. I added the SLES for foam. My liquid soap is not transparent , it is pearly with ph 7, fragrant and leaves a good feeling in the skin of hands . I’m happy with this natural-synthetic association. I also noticed that the hot water favors the irritation of the skin with liquid soap.

I think the effect on the skin of a saponified oil is different from that of a synthetic soap as Sulfates or other.

    Bonjour.

Thank you for your comments and advices Mr. Belassi. I personally, liquid soap dries my skin and i do not want him to do for the other. My question is : what products to avoid in a liquid soap formulation, or otherwise, what is the proportion not exceed for these products.

    Thank you.

    Hello Everybody.

Can we not put preservatives in a liquid soap since Customer Review does not reaches ? The preservatives could be a result of the problems caused to the skin of hands : dryness, irritation, itching.

    Hello Mr Belassi.
my question is : why my liquid soap dries hands. This soap is composed of :
    SLES 9%
    CAPB 4%
    Coco glucoside 1%
    Cocamide DEA 1%
    Glycerin 2 %
    Katon CG (preservative) 0.1 %
    cirtic acid (ph~6)
    Fragrance
    water

Is there a problem in the proportions ? is this sulfates aggressive effect ?
    thank you.

Hello Mr. Belassi and thank you for your responses.

I hope too. But my wife and daughter had the same effect on their hands :
    drying
with small cracks appear in the fingers levels.

    Ecosense 919 or Coco-Glucoside is a vegetable-based. I have put 0.1 % of Katon CG as preservative.

    Hello everyone,
I prepared a liquid soap based on
    SLES (9%),
    CAPB (4%),
    Glycerin (2%),
    Ecosense (1%),
    Cocamide DEA (1%),
NaCl, Fragrance, Citric Acid (for PH~6).

Why my liquid soap dries the skin of hands ? thank you.

For me CPAB reduces the aggressiveness of SLES, glycerin and ecosense soften the skin of hands. What is not respected in my formula ?
