Instead of starting another thread to ask this question I could as well shoot here.

Is there any noticeable difference between lotion made with high sheer mixer and one made with a stick blender? Please I really need to know before I could consider investing in a high sheer mixer.

I’m actually looking for a Liquid Body Wash formulation that is not harsh (non-drying) on the skin but rather moisturising or at least leave the skin as is. I didn’t want to open a fresh discussion on a topic that may have been discussed. I just want to take a look at an already existing post instead of starting a new one.

Let me tell you a little more about what i’m looking for (why I asked about adding Citric Acid). I’ve formulated soap with Citric Acid and I noticed great improvement as per skin smoothness/texture, cell turnover and a little lightening. But of course the foam & hardness were impaired because I messed with the pH. So I NEED to improve on it. I need to have the foaming and hardness on point, and a noticeable lightening effect.

‘…synthetics that outperform it in every respect, including price’ :). That’s ok Belassi. Can we talk about the synthetic.

Yes you are right, rinse off products are not as effective when it comes to skin lightening. Thank you Belassi.

Thank you Ashish. Even with 1% Sodium Sulphite & Sodium Metabisulphite it is still changing colour. Probably i’m doing something wrong.
