the research paper said licorice has natural chemical to inhibit the melanin process therefore it is good ingredients for brightening and anti dark spot due to hyperpigmentation.
beside it is also has anti-acne
i wonder that is it true?

@nara, coconut oil is not good for facial. It may clog the pores and can create acne. You may substitute it with babassu oil. Both has similar fatty acids. There are a lot of marketing hype

@ngarayeva001 I just find these herbs that may be best for eye cream
jojoba oil
rose hip oil
licorice root extract
But do I need babassu oil or Shea butter?

@ngarayeva001 and @Gunther, thank you so much for sharings. Polymer emulsifier is general name? I will google to find it and will try. Now I believe that formulation is necessary to combine natural and chemical (synthetic) ingredients for the best.

@ngarayeva001, I know only one CreamMaker green coffee emulsifier
but it contains stearic acid. It can causes soaping effects
so, I have to use the dimenthicone to remove soaping effect

what emulsifier do you recommend?

Thanks @Lady_B, this article is big marketing hype. Omega 6 is essential oil because our body can’t produce it. Omega 9 can be produced by our body
if omega 9 is more than omega 6, acne developed…..

lacking of omega 6 can be big problems to skin.

usually adding vitamin E can improve the life of omega 6

Alpha-Arbutin is also good for lightning lotion. It inhibits melanin process

@Perry, thanks for feedback question. I saw potassium ascorbate and sodium benzoate as a preserves for ingredients that are from making cosmetic
but the emulsion occurred very well. Sodium benzoate looks like will produce the ion, Na+ in water, but it is not. I discovered that after replacing coconut oil with babassu oil. The emulsion seem to be more stable and more tolerance with water phase changing.

22 drops essential oil for 100 g
i found that top note also staying quiet long if using babassu oil than refined Shea butter. Is it due to small molecular of babassu oil?
