Sounds good to me. I understand now. I had assumed the high pH DEA was being used to neutralise the carbomer. It’s a pity I can’t yet cooperate on development, my lab is in lots of cardboard boxes and plastic dewars, right now.

I will also knockout the Cocamide DEA to see if I can remove it altogether.
    — But isn’t that what’s neutralising the SF-1?

The obvious question is why on earth would you want to turn a floor cleaner into a GEL? It sounds like the opposite of what I would want.

Yeah. It’s like saying, I’m adding a little water to my car’s engine oil, why has the motor started making unpleasant noises?

As I said, I don’t make this kind of product, sorry I can’t be of further help.

A common problem. Find a better, safe, dye.

This is not my area of experience. But have you noticed that the A picture shows the product as translucent? The B picture too, though not quite so much. That yours looks very different? Changes in the visual appearance and light transmission of waxy products depend mainly on the nature of the mixture. Petrolatum is petrolatum, so that’s standard. Also (A) has a polymer which no doubt helps. I would expect the key to making this is (1) correct processing to ensure that the nondesired crystalline structure  isn’t formed on cooldown, and (2) correct proportions between petrolatum and microcrystalline wax, and quite possibly (3) differences between your mc wax and the one they use.

I was wondering if you could ship them all to a shipping agent and have them send it via CAF (consolidated air freight) at that weight it should be viable.

Colours are regulated and (1) must be accepted by the cosmetics industry and (2) you must test for stability. I don’t know where your location is so I can’t comment further. Obviously in your case (2) has not succeeded.

I don’t care what they accept. thiazolinones are horrible. I have a dog here that has to take expensive medication as a result of being shampooed with a shampoo (a Harz product) that had that preservative and there are large numbers of complaints. If that is in your hand soap, get ready for the legal bills when your customers get atopic dermatitis.

100% aloe vera concentration can be quite stinging to mucous membranes. In a face wash I can’t see a reason for using more than a few percent, it’s a rinse off product after all.

ın Turkish market producers use DMDMH+CIT/MIT
    - Are you saying there is isothiazolinone in the product? If so, I am not surprised at irritation. Eventually your skin will break out in pustules.

We’ve discussed this before, surely? Have the product properly tested for moulds and bacteria. I cannot see why it should irritate, otherwise. Unless there is something you are not telling us.

the clay. It depends on how it comes. Has it been dried or is it more or less straight from the mine. If it’s dry you can easily sterilise it in the oven, it would be best to use an electric oven. I’ve no idea what your kaolin is like; mine is in 40Kg sacks and came from Starcast, a mining company in the southern US. It is nice quality but has a residual moisture content. The bentonite is a fine green powder from a mine here in Mexico that is said to be second only to the French product, but isn’t for direct application by itself. I tried it as a mask on my cheek for ten minutes, and it turned my skin bright red and felt like a chemical burn. The strange thing is that it doesn’t seem to be terribly alkaline but it certainly has a terribly strong effect.

The Decyl is non-ionic, I don’t stock that… I’ll try an alternative then, I’ve got Dehyton G, that’s amphoteric, so I’ll try 10% sodium cocoamphoacetate instead. What’s causing the sticky feel?
