I have one more question regarding preservative eco (Benzyl alcohol, salicylic acid, glycerin, sorbic acid). When I add it to water it floats as oil beads on top. But, when I solublze it with glycerin and propanediol and add it to water , it solublizes perfectly. I was told by my tutor that it’s wrong and that glycols are not solublizers and the only way to dissolve it was using true solublizer like decyl glucosides. What is your thoughts on it?

@chemicalmatt I’m using thin film method followed by sonication to make my liposomes. Is this allowed to be used in cosmetics or does this fall under the drug category?
