I checked Qosmedix, they have the lip gloss tubes but not the wiper for them, at least I don’t think so, but I contacted them anyway.
We really can’t invest into 10k units. Like I said, 5000 max, preferably less. The person who had my job before I did, she was the one who ordered lip product components, and of course didn’t leave any information about what suppliers she used… -
@MakingSkincare actually the temperature is 45C, not 50. That was my mistake at misreading the oven settings.
I’ll try some of your suggestions. -

I ended up omitting the grapeseed oil, reducing the alkyl benzoate to 4%, and keeping the cyclopentasiloxane at 2%. The final product looks a lot better, just a bit too greasy for my tastes, so I’m working on that now.

Hello. My background is chemistry (bachelor’s of science) and I’ve been in the cosmetic industry for about a year; it was something I fell into after graduating from university and I turned out to like it a lot
I worked at a contract R&D lab for a while and now I work as an applications chemist for a raw material supplier/distributor.

I’m also thinking of just omitting the grapeseed oil since it’s such a minuscule amount.
