Why is Panthenol listed so high in some Aveeno products like this?
Aveeno is using Panthenol in some of their products at very high amount (maybe 4-5%). Does it have any special benefit at such high level compared to low levels?
Ingredients list: Water; Glycerin; Panthenol; Distearyldimonium Chloride; Petrolatum; Isopropyl Palmitate; Cetyl Alcohol; Dimethicone; Avena Sativa (Oat) Kernel Oil; Steareth-20; Benzalkonium Chloride; Ceramide NP; Sodium Chloride; Avena Sativa (Oat) Kernel Extract

They probably are using 5% based on a paper that it increases wound healing. It should be available if you look for it.

D phantenol have ability to retain moisture, really helps to “claim deep conditioning and deep rehydrated”
