    The authors proposed:
LABSA 10% (neutralized with enough NaOH to get pH 9-10)
    SLES 2%
    CAPB 2%
all of them on an active basis (I even contacted one of the researchers to make sure they were listed on an active basis)

For 10% LABSA (neutralized with NaOH) + 2% SLES
    -  1.5% active CAPB makes it very thick and cloudy, even at room temperature.
    -  0.5% and 1.0% active CAPB are clear at room temperature but cloud at fridge temps (even with no salt added)
    -  0% CAPB stays clear (no salt added too)
I tried switching CAPB suppliers to no avail (in case too much salt in CAPB was skewing my results).

I have no idea what’s going on.
I’ll try 10% LABSA (neutralized) + 4% SLES to see if it works any better. I feel like I’m shooting in the dark.
