Why does Wella T18 Toner turn my hair gray?
T18 is Wells’s lightest ash blonde toner. Notice it’s ASH. That means the base color is green and it doesn’t have any other color in it.
In order to get rid of the gray look, you will need to use Lightest neutral blonde to rid your hair of that ash look.
Ash colors should only be used if there is a large amount of red or gold left behind. The ash will neutralize these colors and you will not be gray. With the absence of these colors, you don’t need ash toners.
