what is this pearliser?
I recently tried a pearliser that Kemcare sells here in Mexico. They are a bit coy about the brand and name but gave me the product data sheet and safety sheet. This works so well, it’s great. I added 2% to my (already good) tea tree shampoo and the foam increased even more, providing a really dense lather with cushion hand feel. In fact such a tiny amount of shampoo is now needed to wash the hair, I will need to reduce the surfactant by a few percent. The data is in Spanish but translates as:
It is a mixture of Polyethylene Glycol Stearate, Diethanolamine of coconut fatty acids and Betaine Cocoamidopropyl. Appearance and composition: viscous liquid white / off-white (60% & 40% H2O Active Material: Olefin Sulfonate Sodium distearate Glycol, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Coco Amide and 0.2% preservative.
I have gone through all the Euperlan types and can’t pin it down. Can anyone recognise it?
