What are your thoughts on this facewash?
I have recently made this facewash. It is gentle and people who have used the samples did like it. I do use 2% salicylic acid in to make it beneficial for acne. I am going to sell this product so i want to know what benefits it will have for consumers so i can write them on label.My questions are
1. Will 2% salicylic acid in this facewash at pH 4 be beneficial for acne?2. What claims would you make for a facewash like this?
3. Any other recommendations to improve the performance?
Ingredients
Salicylic acid 2%
SLES 6.2% active surfactantCAPB 1.2% active surfactant
SLS 1% active surfactant
Lauryl Glucoside 0.6% active surfactantCitric acid 0.8%
Xanthan gum 0.2%
EDTA 0.2%
Glyceryl oleate 0.5%
Phenoxyethanol 0.9%
Glyceryl Caprylate 0.3%
Fragrance 0.2%Final pH adjusted to 4
I have cationic guar, PQ10 and Amodimethicone but didn’t add them because it is for face not hair and used glyceryl oleate instead. Which one do you recommend to add?
