  Waterbased pomade

  any know why my cetereath phase hardens up when I pour water phase in? My ingredients are water, c-25, peg7, glycerin.

  Please can you give the full inci names of each ingredient and % of every ingredient. Please also give details of the process and what you mean by “hardens up”.

  Without knowing your formula or process it will be a guess. I personally spent 3 months on a water based pomade for a private label customer.  It was a challenge. In the end, failure and success were merely separated by a few degrees, a few grams per batch.  Good luck, keep working at it.
