  Water free emulsion

  Would it be possible to make a water free emulsion using for example a glycol or ethanol in place of the water? If so, what (clean-ish) emulsifiers might be best to try this out? Would the stability likely be better or worse over the long term? I’m guessing worse with the ethanol but not sure about a glycol.
