Please provide some guidance. . .
I have made a W/S liquid foundation using samples of treated pigment and I love how easy it is to use. HOWEVER, the owner does not want to order additional pigments as we already have TiO2, and all oxides on hand, but they are not treated. And I now need to try use the nontreated pigments in my formulation. We do have a triple roll mill to disperse the pigments. The formulation is water in Silicone, please advice which would be the best silicones to use for wetting the pigments correctly. I truly do not want to be stuck with an unstable product because I am using the incorrect silicone to disperse the pigment.
Would Caprylyl methicone be the better choice? The current silicone/ oils in the formulation are:
    Isododecane
    Silicone elastomer gel
    Carpylyl methicone
    phenyl trimethicone
    trimethylsiloxysilicate

Note: I do not want to use any Cyclopentasiloxane in the formulation.

Or is there a different oil I should rather use? like IPM?
The only issue is the solubility of other oils/veg oils in silicone.
