I don’t have a specific formula I’m working on but I have had trouble in the past with hyaluronic acid based separating from an emulsion. The only way to fix it was to add a higher percentage of emulsifier but it also lead to the hair mask hardening more than i wanted. I used BTMS and cetyl alcohol. I think at 6% btms and 3% cetyl it seperated but at 8% btms is didn’t. My goal was a more fluffy lighter cream but the harder cream was fine. Is there a work around to this?

I believe Hyaluronic acid is anionic, you can check if the cationic version is available.
