I was contacted by aromatherapy expert Robert Tisserand about a new course he’s put together. I got a chance to go through it and it’s pretty interesting.  Robert is a real expert in this topic as he’s been specializing in aromatherapy and education since 1974!

Anyway, he’s put together a course on using Essential Oils in Skin Care Products.  It covers a ton of relevant topics.

There are 9 modules covering the most important topics in Essential Oils including…

Healing oils - Reviews ingredients shown to
treat certain skin conditions & even discusses dose levels.

Transdermal Absorption - Do essential oils penetrate
the skin and get into the body?  This module looks at the
science behind behind this.  Hint…some do.

Dryness and Oiliness - Find out the best essential
oils to use for treating dryness, oiliness, and even acne.

Irritation and allergies - Learn how to test your
essential oils to determine whether they will cause problems on skin.

Sensitivity issues -  Discover the symptoms of
sensitive skin and the types of essential oil treatments
    that can help give relief.

Microbial imbalance - Skin is covered with thousands
of different microorganisms that can be both beneficial and harmful.
In this lesson you’ll learn how to use aromatherapy to keep
the friendly bacteria happy and to fight off the harmful microbes.

Trauma and repair of skin - Essential oils have been used to
treat skin traumas for centuries.  In this lesson you’ll learn
    which ingredients are most effective.

Photosensitization - This is a known effect from some
plant ingredients and in this lesson, Robert tells you how
to avoid these problems when using essential oils.

Skin cancer and aging - In this lesson you’ll learn about
the primary symptoms and causes of skin aging and how
essential oils can be used to treat or possibly reverse them.
If you have any interest specifically in aromatherapy and using essential oils in skin care, this is an excellent program for you.

We’re actually working on a Natural Formulating course which will definitely be launched sometime in late January.
