    Hello Everyone,
I just made a dishwash that is too thick because I added too much hydrotrope. I will appreciate any idea on how to thin it without water.

    Thank you.

I did that with a little amount of DPG, worked well.

Thank you @milli. DPG is dipropylene glycol, right?

I really appreciate the feedback though there are few souls here who would just take off after asking for pointers and suggestions. Bless them.

    Cheers

All in all, in a SLES/Betaine system there is no need for thickener.
    Am I right?

@Bimsmide - If you adjust the salt to the proper level then no, you don’t need an additional thickener

@perry, how can I measure the proper level of salt (e.g NaCl) in 100L soap? I will appreciate an idea.

    Thank you.

Try to optimize at lab level and then scale up. How about starting with a kg of sample and study its salt curve, this would give you an idea of how much you would need for 100 L.

@Bimsmide - you figure out the proper level by doing a salt curve analysis on your system.  See this post on how to do a salt curve analysis.
