  • Thickening agent compatible with high salt content

Im making a hand cleaner using 70% ethanol, 29.4 % H20, 0.6% polymer thickener then adding a decent amount of Calcium carbonate as an abbrasive.

The salt content in the calcium carbonate seems to break down the polymer thickners I have been using. Can anyone suggest a thickening agent than can handle the high salt content?
I have tried the guar’ s but do not like the sticky feeling they leave on the skin. Any suggestions are appreciated
