Hi everybody,  I want to create a thick cream texture like Bobby Brown Moisturizing Cream as below. The cream seems thick, rich and almost has a texture like a balm. i know it includes butter to have such a rich texture and I made a lot of attempts trying out butter oil ratios but so far none of my attempts can come nearer to such texture. i tried different butter/ oil ratios :
butter/oil : 1.5/ 1 : it looks ok but when i try it on it seems much lighter, it doesn’t have a heavy feel which makes Bobby brown’s cream seems rich and worth of the money.
butter/oil 2/1 : texture is off and seems too hard. But again when i tried it on, it is nowhere near having that “rich, heavy feeling” on my finger.
i’m just wondering if any ingredients in that cream apart from the butter that make it have such a rich heavy feel like butter ?

Here is the pictures and ingredient list

Bis-Diglyceryl Polyacyladipate-2 - rich, heavy feel similar to lanolin.

It’s often called ‘synthetic lanolin’ or ‘vegan lanolin’ Great ingredient. It’s sold by alexmo https://www.alexmo-cosmetics.de/Softlanae-649-veganer-Lanolin-Ersatz

By the way, the secret is mixing very light emollient with very thick one. they did D5 with softisan, but similar effect can be achieved by mixing CCT or octyldodecanol (very light ester) with petrolatum. Or, D5 with petrolatum (probably better because of more compatible polarities.
