    Hello team!
So much information and documentation to choose suppliers/ingredients are needed, right?
    In your experience:
    • what is the most essential information needed to select potential ingredients? (e.g. Examples: composition details, biodegradability, usage level, etc)
    • what essential data do you struggle the most to get?
For context, Covalo is been working on improving data accessibility in the chemical industry and our very first step is to understand what is most relevant for cosmetics brands.
    Thank you for your attention

I can’t speak for cosmetic brands, but since I am a frequent user of covalo, access to technical data sheets works for me.  Covalo does a good job in most aspects. All the marketing glitz with usage levels and applications I usually ignore. Most specialty chemical manufacturers cite their ingredients work for ALL applications, at high loads, which is profoundly idiotic but they do it anyway. Marketing peeps in charge - go figure!

    That’s nice to hear!
Which data do you usually check on the technical data sheets?

    Thank you
