  Tallow deodorizing steam stripping

  Greetings.

  I just bought a small 120 liters stainless steel vessel that is capable of supporting small vacuum, i have also a 4CFM vacuum pump, which i will couple to the vessel, im attempting to Deodorize tallow injecting steam at 90-100psi from the bottom of the vessel for about 4hours. 

  All the above information was take from a some researche and patents from internet made about 50 years old, 1970-1990, im not pretty sure if i would work but the chemestry is pretty simple, downing the pressure will down the evaporation temperature of volatile compounds without degradation of oil. 

  I will appreciate any suggestion or input if someone has any experience with deodorizing proccedure, im not attempting to obtain full refined or full deodorized oil, with 50% less Odor would be perfect.
