  Synthetic Ester Verse Jojoba oil

  Replacing synthetic ester with jojoba oil in cream formulation is good or bad idea?
  I would like to look for the comments from all of you. I appreciate all of you who contribute to this topic.

  Jojoba wax is an ester.

  @Belassi, I might be missing something, but isn’t jojoba esters a hydrogenated form of jojoba oil? I understand that jojoba oil is a wax by substance, but I thought jojoba oil (wax) and jojoba esters are different ingredients.

  the wax visually appears to be a mobile oil, but as a wax it is composed almost entirely (~97%) of mono-esters of long-chain fatty acids and alcohols

  @Belassi thank you, I could not understand why is jojoba different from other carrier oils.
