    Hi,

We are in need of PEG-12 Glyceryl Dioleate OR PEG-12 Glyceryl distearate in our laboratory experiment.

We do have Glyceryl distearate and Glyceryl Dioleate but we do not know what process or additives we need to change them into PEG-12 -

Can anyone please kindly shed some light on this? We can do further research from just a brief guideline but right now we do not know where to start.

    Warm regards

This would require ethoxylation of the compounds, something far beyond a simple process. You would need to buy the materials.

not too many companies do ethoxylation anymore however you can try Pressure Chemical if you choose to go that route: http://www.presschem.com/alkoxylation.htm
