  Surfactants That Thicken With Salt

  After some experimentation and research, I figured out that not all anionics will thicken with salt. Is there a list somewhere? I work on sulfate-free formulas, so that’s likely part of the problem. Here’s what I know will thicken with salt:

  Sodium Methyl Cocoyl Taurate
  Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate
  Sodium Lauroyl Methyl Isethionate (Iselux)

  Will NOT thicken:
  Sodium Lauryl Sarcosinate
