    Hello,

I’m not a chemist but I do have a science degree. I have recently become interested in formulating products. I also make cold process soap and am epic at making bathbombs if anyone ever needs any help! :)

I’m making a simple recipe of bath oils in solid form. I tried sodium Lauryl Sulphate and it works ok. Can anyone suggest an alternative for a solid bath oil please as most people seem to dislike SLS.

I’m Uk based and can only buy from small scale suppliers like grace fruit, soap kitchen, naturallythinking so doubt I can approach chemical companies for my 1 litre bottle of surfactant! :-)

Simple recipe of just cocoa butter and jojoba oil. Works ok without the surfactant too but can feel sticky.

    Thank you
