Thanks @Belassi for your fast response
do you think that po65 will produce something different rather than pq7 and pq10 and all this ingredients?

Polyquat 10 is made of HEC, so keep in mind that it will thicken your formula. Looking at the ingredients I assume it’s thick enough. My suggestion is: up polyquat 7 to 2% and add 0.5% of polyquat 10. Conditioners are great but you don’t really want to add more than 2.5-3%. You can also add some watersoluble silicone (PEG-8 Dimethicone), watersoluble oils (PEG-50 shea butter) and if you still don’t like it, increase CAPB and decrease other surfactants (but keep total active ingredients at 15%).

I am glad someone pointed that out. There is no substitute for the hands-on lab work. “Will 3% SA dissolve in 10% PG?” DO the work and let me know.

If you want to try surfactants that are usually only available by the drum, you might be able to find a local factor who is willing to supply you ‘on the coat tails’ of a larger customer. I get one of my surfactants that way; it’s an Akypo product. I buy 5 gallons at a time, I guess that might be a bit much for someone wanting experimental quantities. BASF surfactants are usually available, as are Stepan. Try the Plantaren range, they have some very easy to use blends as well as quite a few different types of surfactant. Try Dehyton AB 30 instead of bog standard CAPB.
