Hi so strange thing. Ive been using sucragel aof successfully since I got the sample. I’ve used it many times this past year with no incident. Last night, literally I tried 3 batches and I could not get it to gel.
I did the exact same thing i do all the time when I use it. It’s for the same product which is a cleansing gel. Never had a problem once I got the hang of it last year.
Do you have any idea that all of a sudden its not working? Its been very humid here in so calif where live. The beakers were dry. I didn’t change my process to in using sucragel at all. I have an order to fulfill. I did not change a thing. It kept turning white as if water was introduced, but there was no water.
3 batches same thing.  Any suggestions or help?

Did I get a bad batch?  I got a sample a in the fall of 2020. It still have some left. Did it expire?  I have orders for the product, and I can’t make it without my sucragel.

Are you adding your lipids extremely slowly? “Dropwise?” (Literally drop by drop)

Do you follow their recommendations or are you using your own strategy?

This is a cool concept, but in my experience, is not suitable for a commercial product.  The process to form the gel is tedious and it does not work with all carrier oils … works better with saturated oils, not so goog with unsaturated oils.  Generally, the gels are not heat stable. Next.

That has been my experience in scaling up these Formulas. They are difficult to perform on the manufacturing floor. Most Contract Manufacturers I know avoid this raw material.

Agree completely, I’m discontinuing the one product in my line that uses Sapogel because I just can’t accommodate the production time.
