Stearic Acid : Triethanolamine
Making triethanolamine stearate, I’ve read that Stearic Acid : Triethanolamine is 2:1. https://www.atamanchemicals.com/stearic-acid-tea_u24830/?lang=EN
The stearic acid is added to the oil phase and the triethanolamine is added to the water phase. And, by getting the correct amount of stearic acid, the triethanolamine no longer exists. Can anyone just tell me the Stearic Acid : Triethanolamine ratio, where the triethanolamine would no longer exist?
