  Stearic Acid temp range

  I am working with Stearic Acid in a shaving soap.  What is the best range of temperatures I can use with Stearic Acid and how high can I go above the meltpoint?

  I’m now working in the 180-190 F range which works better for me with the consistency of the soap in pouring it into the mold and I am hoping that an even higher temp may work better…
