  • Stability problem of soap based facial wash

Hello everyone!. I made a soap based facial wash but that was not stable when tested thermally on 45 degrees in oven. So I decided to add a polymer named hydroxyethyl cellulose. Actually I don’t know how to use it. And which phase or stage do I need to add it. Anyone have the experience of using it can help me. Thanks.

@Fekher As in every soap base obviously there is fats and oils phase and other one is lye. I am asking mainly that how to make it stable. How to add polymer?

@Fekher if I can modify my question. That is how to use hydroxyethyl cellulose. Does its thickness and solubility vary with PH?
