  • SqualEne in sunscreen good or bad?

Squalene can be oxidized by uv light, but is this a concern in a sunscreen formula where it’d be protected by the sunscreen active and penetrate into the stratum corneum?

Seems like it could be beneficial and act as a cholesterol precursor and emollient. Anyone looked into this more closely?
