  Sodium stearate deodorant

  I have been formulating deodorant using sodium stearate and xanthan gum as my solidifiers.  My trouble is that the product solidifies so quickly that it makes it hard to get in to the stick container.  Is this a common problem?  Any advice on how to solve this problem?

  Are you pouring it off at a hot temperature?
