Wouldn’t any supposed vitamins in tallow be degraded by saponification?

Before I’m accused of believing the BS about how good “X” brand of soap is due to the fats/oils it’s made of,  I do NOT believe that if any vitamins are actually left in the soap, they  have any benefit. I am just skeptical of the claims made of some soap varieties.

The vitamins work on the “fairy dust” principle.

@Margaret Not only vitamins would be degraded by saponification, but also in previous steps (bleaching, deodorization, etc.).

As @PhilGeis, they are just part of the fairy dust of our industry.

@ ketchito, pls do you have any idea of how I can deodorize oil for soap making, my soap smell awful and when I added fragrance to it, everything separated.

    Buy higher quality, refined lipids.
