  • Soap nut surfactant as dispersing agent

    Hello,
I want to use soap nut liquid as a dispersing agent for an herbal body lotion. I have found some studies online that show a 55-70% saponin content in soap nut extracted via heat on stove top. Based on this saponin content, roughly what % of the final mass of the product should be soap nut liquid to achieve good spreadability without clumping? If it is a factor depending on the dry mass of the herb powder used in the formula, let’s say 20% of the formula is dry powder, 79% water/oils, 1% guar, xanthan, lecitihin.
    Thanks
