    Question #1 why do you need carbopol?
    Question #2 surfactants percentages, are you using active matter or is it 8% of SLES as supplied?
    Question #3 preservative?

    Make sure it’s 8% active SLES, and not 8% as-supplied as SLES often comes in 70 and 30% active, never 100%

    Use CAPB insted of coco betaine

    Make sure active CAPB is a third (or more) of active SLES.

    Make sure that CDEA is not leaving a sticky afterfeel.

    Carbopol ain’t needed. You can thicken it with salt.
    You need to make a salt curve to check the proper amount needed to thicken it. With CAPB and CDEA it should be less than 1% salt required.

    Remove the glycerine. It does nothing and reduces foaming and viscosity.

    A preservative is needed.

    @ngarayeva001
    Q#1 for thickness
    Q#2 the percentage of SLES is 70% as supplied and percentage of Cocobetain is30% as supplied
    Q#3 i have used DMDM hydantoin 0.2%

    @Gunther
    sir SLES 70% and i have used as supplied
    ok am going to remove CDEA
    maybe when i have not use carbopol the temperature effect the thickness at 40 degree Celsius
    ok  am also going to remove glycerine

    can anyone tell me how can i reduce temperature effect on shower gel
    its fine when i put it at 30 degree Celsius but viscosity going to decrease as i increase temperature
    can i control it

    It’s not CDEA, you simply don’t have enough surfactants. You need 15 to 20% of active mass. You currently have just 8%. It doesn’t cleanse properly. Recalculate it and make sure that CABP is > than third of SLES as Gunter advised. I usually go for 50% but that could be overkill.

    If that’s 8% using a 70% active ingredient raw (i.e. Texapon N-70) that’s 5.6% net active SLES. That’s too little and that’s not going to thicken properly.

    So you’d need something like 8% active SLES. You’d need 11.43% Texapon N-70 to get 8% net active SLES.

    Here is your calculation:

    INCI Concentration Use from the bottle Active Matter
    SLES 70% 12% 8.40%
    CAPB 35% 14% 4.90%
    Sarcosinate 30% 8% 2.40%

    Now the total matter is 15%. Add CAPB in the very end. You will not even need carbopol, it will thicken with salt.
