I have a lip balm that we make and at first it was fine but then found small crystals forming in the balm after a few weeks, the balm has a high content of shea butter, realising it was the shea that was causing the crystals we started to using a HMP shea. The crystals have now gone but the balm is much harder. And I am not sure how to make it softer.
