Shampoo/Conditioner Bars without water ingredients pale in comparison
After weeks of trialing the shampoo and conditioner bars without water soluable ingredients, its a massive fail. Not only does it not feel a fraction as nice, it also doesn’t make my hair look as nice either. The difference after showering wouldn’t be hugely noticeable to the average person but my formula was so luxurious before that the small difference in appearance is the difference between small farmers market to local shops. Before I could confidently state that my bars were top tier and now, I wouldn’t give them away. But I cannot seem to find any literature on why this is possible. Water based ingredients should not affect the overall quality of the bars. I know the subjective feel while using them is understandable but I can’t explain why the difference is so significant given that I kept the formula nearly identical.
