    I’m doing a shampoo … more is separating water from the gel, which would be the solution to this not happen … my recipe:
    80% water
    10% decyl glucosideo
    6% Cocamidopropyl Betaine
    1% gom agar or xanthan
    1% 
    essential oil
    1% 
    glycolic extract
    1% 
    natural oil

    it sounds like the gum hasn’t been properly dispersed/hydrated

    what’s your method of manufacture?

    water, agar, Decyl, Cocamidopropyl, extract, natural oil and essential oil

    Mix the agar / xanthan gum longer.

    The oils may be separating too.

    Agar and Xanthan are mixed usually in the warm water as first step, dispersing and with strong stirring energy. then other ingredients are added. Please specify better what essential oil and natural oil have you listed.
