Semi Solid NT Gloss
Hi All
Just looking for a bit of advice… matte, non transfer lippy seems to be the rage atm. I’m trying to produce the opposite - high gloss/shine non transfer colors.
Reading some of the processes on several patents, I dont think I can replicate these equipment wise.Would I get a better result (as a home crafter) reverting back to a 2 step process? eg; application of colour base, dry time and then applying a high gloss film (top coat)?
Formulation wise I’m using an MQ/T resin for non transfer effects.
All the usual feel and glide properties dont apply in this instance (can have some tack) so keeping it very simple ingredient wise.If the 2 step product would be the better option (as non transfer is the critical component), what would you suggest as a film former in a top coat? I’m finding it hard to search for a top coat starting formulation that doesnt compromise the color.
Thanks
