  Seeking suggestions for preservatives system for facial wash / top to toe w

  Hi, I am formulating for personal use a simple no tears face wash/top to toe. So far the below formulation works for me (no preservatives yet). I am considering adding fragrance oil and citric acid. Do I need to add sles? Feel free to suggest a better formulation.

  The current formulation is

  Sorbitol - 40%

  Propylene glycol - 20%

  Cocamidopropyl Betaine (30%) 14%

  Water - 26%

  What would be the best preservative system for this type of formulation? Is it better to make the water higher amount and less sorbitol?
