    hello!

I made up a scrub containing the following ingredients and when i put it on my skin and washed it off with hot water, it leave a crazy sticky adhesive residue on my skin!!

is it the benzoin resin thats doing it?!?! or is the tocopherol?

Exfoliants- epsom salt, salt, dead sea salt, plant shell particles
    oils- hempseed, grapeseed
    other -Tocopherol
EOs -Tea Tree oil, lavender oil, patchouli oil, bergmot oil, bezoin resin, vanilla oleo resin

It seems like it becomes worse over time… I  have done knock out trails but they all dont seem to make the skin sticky when they are fresh so i am letting them sit. in the mean time, i though i’d ask the experts.

Benzoin resin is used as a medical skin adhesive. Why are you using it?

    It’s a fragrance ingredient. I’ve used it in a product once(0,6%). Wasn’t sticky.
