I saw someone somewhere once say that contract manufacturers do not sanitize containers prior to filling. Is this true?

we don’t, there is enough preservative in the bulk material.
Only for sterile products, we have sanitization steps in place

the contract manufacturers I used to work for never did

however, we routinely took a TVC on every production run to check the product wasn’t getting contaminated in the process of being filled

The airless pop up bottle is cleaned at manufacturing
i asked the sellers and they told me that airless bottles are ready to use
