    Hi
Does anyone know how long finished product samples need to be stored for to comply with GMP in the EU?
I thought it was 1 year after the expiry date but I found out that was for medicinal products not cosmetics.

It depends on the POA (period after opening)
    >POA 30 months is 5 year sample storage.

for what it’s worth, whenever we’ve been audited under ISO 22716 (the worldwide cosmetic GMP standard), the question has never been asked

as a rule we store retained samples for three years after the date of manufacture, except for customers who require them to be stored for longer, and our auditors have never had an issue with this
