Salicylic acid

Hope you all are doing well
First of all i would like to thank everyone for being such a helpful community you guys help a lot
So my concern is i have been working on salicylic serum 2% water based
I have tried to mix with pg than add to water but it crystalized
Then tried to Add 5% Sodium Benzoate and SA still didn’t dissolve
I am trying to keep the formula as simple as i can by limiting Number of Ingredients used
Please guide me -

Have you tried to heat both water and PG before mixing? It helps sometimes.

Can be heated up but later when they hit room temp
