  Safest chemicals to use to lighten hair?

  I’ve done a bit of research online on what the safest way to lighten hair is and there seems to be a lot of differing opinions so I thought I would ask the experts on the forum I know some of you specialize in hair lightening/blonding products and formulations so I am hoping someone has some information regarding this. I’m asking because I have been lightening my hair my entire life but haven’t in the past year because of the fact that my hair has started to thin a LOT (due to either post partum hair fall and/or genetics????‍♀️). Anyway, I am afraid that lightening my hair using the standard salon chemicals will cause even more hair fall. Anyway, is this something I should just avoid altogether or are there products on the market today or certain ingredients that I can look for that will not cause more hair loss…?
