It does not make sense, maybe it is soap ( hydrogenated fat with NAOH), usually a syndet bar contains around 15% soap like a Dove bar.

Search Dove, on this website you will see that it contains 15% soap it was confirmed by a chemist that worked at Unilever.
Soap is a fatty acid salt, sodium cocoate, sodium palmpate… NAOH will not be included in the ingredient list. It would not be the first time a company is not listing ingredients correctly. -
It comes in the form of Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil from the supplier. They are not converting it to a saponified soap. The product brings a “soft” feel, emolliency, and lubricity to the syndet bar.We used this in a reformulation of a major brand syndet as it was in the legacy formulation.

Thanks
Does it matter what Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil we use or anyone will have the same effect?
Is soft feel & lubricity the only effect of Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil or it has any effect on foam, viscosity and detergency too?
